Wynnum/Manly District Cricket Club
STA Queensland Premier Cricket Ground of the Year 2018/2019 Bill Albury Oval and the site of Wynnum/Manly District Cricket Club. The cricket grounds are looked after by Nathan Rabnott under some challengingly circumstances with the fields constantly being flooded by salt water. The club has invested heavily in drainage and water reclamation in order to use rainwater to irrigate their field. -
Logan Village Cricket Club - Newstead Park, Buccan
Winners of the STA Qld 2018/2019 Community Grounds of the Year, Logan Village Cricket Club at Newstead Park, Buccan. The grounds are looked after by Rick Galloway who does a tremendous job on a non-existent budget, spending countless hours as a volunteer creating a great place for the community to get together and be active. The grounds look fantastic for the middle of winter! -
