Are you passionate about Greenkeeping? The Parks and Conservation Services Unit has an excellent opportunity for a Field Officer specialising in Sports Field, Turf and Irrigation Services who will undertake specialist maintenance and general labouring functions in an efficient and timely manner throughout Redland City Council Coast’s parks, roadside and conservation areas.

Guided by our Values, you will:

Use and maintain a broad range of plant, tools and equipment used in operational maintenance services.
Have excellent communication skills to deal with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner to achieve positive outcomes for the Group.
Have the ability to identify and report any potential or actual safety hazards / issues within the work environment.

Eligibility

You’ll hold a minimum 3 years’ experience in the relevant field or qualification.
You’ll have a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management, or Greenkeeping Qualification.
You’ll have a Current Class ‘C’ Drivers Licence.
You’ll will have the availability to perform after hours work on an on-call and call-out basis
To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.
