Cricket Wicket Seminar

November 7, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us as we learn about the subtle art of cricket wicket preparation and maintenance on Thursday 7th of November at Queensland Cricket Headquarters, Allan Border Field.  The staff from Queensland Cricket will show you how they prepare and maintain their wickets and answer any questions you may have about the process of cricket wicket preparation and maintenance.   There will be practical demonstrations of the processes used to prepare wickets.

We will also have the Head Curator of the Gabba, David Sandurski, on hand to have a chat and answer any questions you may have for him.

JUST ANNOUNCED:  “Toro Australia have just announced that they will be doing a demo of their exciting new Toro Outcross 9060 at our upcoming Cricket Wicket Day. Toro Irrigation will also be doing a practical demonstration on Sports Field Rotors and how to get the most out of them. There will be stalls with wicket related products and staff from Nuturf and Greenway Turf Solutions. Ask the experts at the STA Queensland Cricket Wicket Demonstration Day.”

Lunch will be provided on the day with a sausage sizzle where everyone can get together and chat about what does and doesn’t work for them.
